Privacy Policy

This policy describes the limited data Ontario People Search receives, how that data is handled, and the options available to visitors. Collection is narrow. The site offers reference information about public records in Ontario, California, without requiring an account or keeping a personal-record profile about you.

Information You Submit

Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies the results. Ontario People Search does not retain a copy of those queries on its own servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you decide to send and use them to answer your message.

Information Collected Automatically

Standard server logs may record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and visit times. Aggregated log data helps maintain the service and shows which Ontario records pages visitors use. Cookies or comparable technology may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.

How We Use Information

The limited data above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles of individual users.

Privacy on Linked Services

Links may lead to City of Ontario resources, San Bernardino County and California records offices, library collections, or outside search tools. Each destination applies its own privacy rules to information submitted there. Sponsored search results are also delivered by a third-party company and operate under that provider's policy.

When Information Is Shared

Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatically collected information described above. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; visitor information is not otherwise shared.

Safeguards and Retention

An encrypted connection serves the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the uses stated above. Because visitors do not create accounts, Ontario People Search holds no user password or account profile.

Visitors Under 18

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent personal information so that it can be deleted.

Your California Privacy Rights

California privacy laws may give you rights to know about, correct, or delete personal information a business maintains, subject to legal limits. The California Privacy Protection Agency also operates the DROP portal for deletion and opt-out requests to registered data brokers. Because Ontario People Search retains very little, a request here will generally involve checking contact mail and available server logs. Submit it through the Contact page. Official public records kept by Ontario, San Bernardino County, or California agencies are outside our control and may instead fall under the California Public Records Act, Government Code section 7920.000 et seq.; requests about those records must go to the government custodian.

Changes to This Policy

Any revised policy will appear here. By continuing to use the service after an update, you accept the new version.
